Isabel C. Moura is currently an Assistant Professor of computer science and information systems at the Department of Information Systems, University of Minho. She is also a researcher of the ALGORITMI research center and a member of its Information Systems and Technologies (IST) research group (namely of its ISTTOS laboratory -Information Systems and Technologies for Transformation of Organizations and Society). Born and raised in Portugal, she attended the University of Minho, earning her Undergraduate (1993) degree in Systems and Computer Science Engineering and her Master’s (1997) degree in Computer Science, specializing in Management Information Systems. She then moved to the United States of America (on leave of absence from the academia) to attend the University of South Carolina, earning her PhD (2004) degree in Economics from this University. Her current research interests include Teamwork and Computer Science and Information Systems Instruction. She has published refereed works in international conferences, journals, and books and made several communications at international conferences. She received 2 awards. She serves as reviewer for international journals and has been serving in committees of international conferences. She was also a member of AIS - Association for Information Systems (2013-2018) and served as associate editor for ICIS 2015 (the 2015 International Conference on Information Systems).
